Read the title, and read it carefully
Babel is not an ancient city in the land of Shinar in which the building of the tower (of Babel) that was intended to reach Heaven and took away the confusion of languages between the constructors,
but babel is actually a person, a liverpool winger that also plays as a striker.
Yesterday, when the game was tied 1-1 in the 2nd half,
Babel delivered a vicous strike and sunk a beautiful goal at the 77th minute
to secure a 2-1 win over united.
This marked our 3rd win in 4 games, and this could seriously be our year to shine in the EPL
and end that frikkiin dry spell

School Nationals Canoeing Championships 2008

The waves gathered, and as a steadily rolling jelly, crashed upon the shores of Macritchie reservoir.
We were there to win, and win we did, making our mark as legends.
if y'all managed to read my previous post on how we dominated the dragonboat nationals, good for you, cause we did it AGAIN!
HAHA SOMEBODY, TELL US HOW IT FEELS LIKE TO LOSE!
Our k2 was simply superb, it was such an unexpected win though, in the end it all boiled down to how "HARD" we trained! I waaaana thank cliff for slacking with me and performing when competition arose.
Our k4 was amazing too, with the likes of davin, shenjian cliff and i, haha UNBEATABLE i tell you.
All in all, the double gold felt really really awesome,
and credit to GOD too for boosting our boat

LET THE CELEBRATIONS BEGIN!

hahah went to seoul garden in marina after the competition with our burnt bodies,
look, everyone looks freaking roasted coupled with ecstatic expressions!
Company was great and so was the food,
It felt gratifying to see the smiles on our coaches faces and it also felt wonderful to end the season on such a high note. In the end, after 4 years of up's and down's during training, it was all very much worthwhile,
evenn after enduring a whole lot of pain and bloodshed, our efforts paid off.
i'll definitely miss the team, now that the sec4's are gone,
no more slacking! HAHA

National School's Dragonboat Championships 2008

HAHA we retained our overall B'div and C'div champions and congrats to acjc too for winning overall A'div!
Mann we were SUPER SLOW at our starts, but i guess our maintainance and perserverance earned us the title!
OH and i dont normally boast, but seriously (since we're sec4, hehe), we came in FIRST for EVERYTHING: HEATS, SEMI'S and FINALS! HAHA SOMEONE, TELL US HOW IT FEELS LIKE TO LOSE!(HAHA SORRY THAT FELT SUPER NICE TO SAY!)
Anyway much thanks to our coaches and all the sec4's for making our final dragonboating competition such a joy!
hahaha and after the whole thing, we went to temesak poly to bathe and freaking got stuck in there cause the security guard nicely locked the gate shortly after we went in and refused to let us climb back out! We had to walk all the way to the front gate which was FARR! Went to tampanis mall cause town was too far, had burger king. MRT home all the way, for like 20 something stops! HAHA BYE

NJCC 2008

National juniors, it was an exhausting 2 days! In the end, it was all worthwhile, we were able to see where our opponents stood and evaluate how close they were to us and figure how much harder we had to train to win the school nationals! I guess we're pretty hopeful if we wanna retain our B'div champions title.
Our K4 came in 4th for both 500m and 1000m and it was freakingg closeee! Either way, the podium places were taken by jc's so we can comfort ourselves with that fact for the mean time! We got 2nd for the B "div" finals for k2 though! HAAH YEAH

Yesterday, i finally got my long awaited dragonboat paddle!
hahaa freaking long wait, after 3 years, they finally realised that the SDBA paddle was so heavy, we would've gone so much faster with our personal paddles! Damn, i think my paddle's to long though.
Either way, had really much fun finally being able to walk around with it showing it off,
HAHA attracted glances from everyone, and felt great.
